Weaving nurturing, angelic vocals, lyrics and prayers with gentle compositions, sacred instruments and guitar, Daniela’s music soothes and opens the heart, enfolding the listener in a tender embrace of the Sacred.
Through living life dedicated to growth and awakening, working with spiritual practices and learning from the natural world, she integrates these teachings into her work, offering a sensitive and profound approach to sound medicine, bodywork, yoga and the healing arts.
Since childhood Daniela has been immersed in art, poetry, music, and the healing ways. Growing up in a western culture with a strong sense that there was more to life than how it appeared to be, she experienced teachings from Nature and the spirit world through dreams and intuition.
She completed a degree in Fine Art, during which time she spent long periods of time in woodlands, mountains and at ancient sacred sites simply observing Nature and learning to awaken her ability to 'see', while expressing these experiences into paintings, photographs and writings. During this time and much due to an intense journey of personal healing, she also began studying the arts of energy healing, tai chi, yoga and shamanism.
Daniela spent some years living in the America's, where she studied with teachers and indigenous elders in Yoga and Native American and indigenous medicine ways. These experiences created a foundation from which much of her music and healing work has flowered and continues to develop, as an unfolding journey into the heart and the essence of being.
Daniela met Ali in 2005, which initiated another powerful transformation in her life, and with it the awakening of a deep inspiration to become immersed in the spheres of healing music and creating sacred space through sound. She is currently training in Holistic Voice Work, Shamanic Healing and Bodywork, and studies with some of the worlds most respected yoga teachers. She is the co-director of Spirit of Healing - through which she teaches yoga and offers her healing bodywork therapies.
